What Causes Bumps In Genital Area?

Hi I gave birth 6months ago,and have been finding pimples in the genital area (not actually in vagina) on and off since then. They are quite large and uncomfortable. I don't wear tight underwear, and never had this before giving birth. Is it just hormone related?
