What Causes Bumps On Legs?

Hi i just recently got little bumps on my legs around the knee i don't know what might cause it . i just got done taking a shower getting ready to put lotion on and saw all the small red bumps appear. i rub over it n it started to go away a bite. can you tell me what might it be. thank you really appreciate this.
