What Causes Bumps On Pubic Area Post Protected Sex?

I'm a male, had intercourse wo th this girl for a year now with no protection. Two nights ago We were having sex and I woke up with these bumps on my pubic hair area and then more at the base of penis and stray one or two up the shaft. I have a lot of pubic hair and we were grinding and during the sex I felt the hair rubbing and it was hurting but I ignored it. I'm guessing that the bumps are from that and not an std. I can pop the bumps and a little white stuff comes out. It is very painful and sensitive to touch. I think my girl has it too because she wouldn't let me look in that region And then she ran out saying she has doctor appointment and now today she texts me and says she's coming over and needs to talk. Do I have herpes or is it from the rubbing and infected hair follicles or something?
