What Causes Bumps On The Penis Shaft?

                                                                 Hi, well in august of last year after having sex with a condom I noticed a circle of small bumps on the bottom side of the shaft of my penis near the line where the head starts I didn't know wat the were so I popped them and they appeared to be jus bumps but after popping them I continued with my normal sexual activities and the skin where the bumps were became red raw and sore it took about 2 weeks for it to heel ever since then maybe about every 2 or 3 months a patch of raw skin appears on bottom side of the head of my penis, then more recently I was having unprotected sex with my long time girlfriend and during sex my penis became very itchy and swollen and remained that way for serveral minutes even after I had washed away all of her fluids from my penis, I don't know what's going on she has no std symptoms and I've been checked for syphillis, one doctor told me it was herpes but didn't do any tests to diagnose it, plus I don't think its herpes because I don't have any of the symptoms of herpes, no pain on urination, no discharge, no back pain, no blisters jus a patch of raw skin that comes and gos 1 doctor said it could be a yeast infection and gave me so antifungal cream I've been using for 2 weeks and the patch is back anyway, also I work out a lot I don't know if that could be a factor aswell please help
