What Causes Bumps On Vagina?

hi I have been experiencing some bumps on my vagina I think they might be ingrown hair but are they supposed to have a smell to it, I also have some pain on the side of my grow where the bumps are. Is it ingrown hairs or is it something else? what can I use to treat it?
