What Causes Burning And Taste Of Blood At The Back Of Throat?

While my 16 year old daughter was performing tonight she suddenly felt like her throat was burning and closing along with the taste of blood in the back of her throat. Then she felt her arms go numb. She was sweating perfusely as well and her body was red. She doesn t have asthma or a cold. I feel as though she inhaled something. Other members of her team experienced similar symptoms. Are the symptoms of this?
