What Causes Burning Feeling In Left Nostril After Using Nasal Cannula?

I had a colonoscopy this morning and an oxygen nasal cannula was used during the procedure. i have been suffering ever since from a burning feeling in my left nostril, nose running and eyes watering. I have no known allergies and have never had symptoms like these in the past. Why is this happening and what can I do to alleviate this miserable feeling?
