What Causes Burning Feeling In Throat Area?

what can I do to get rid of this burning in my throat area if I lay down I really get sick I have taken a heartburn pill and it hasn t helped I have had heartburn but I have never ever had it this bad where it wakes me from my sleep and I got sick to my stomach
