What Causes Burning In Breast And Nipples With Soreness?

Hi I have been having sore breasts for the past month. The left breast is getting worse ,the nipple is really sore with a burning sensation. When the nipple contracts it burns and hurts. I'm 33 years old not pregnant (tubes tied). What could be causing this? What to do to ease the burning sensation?
