What Causes Burning In Lips And Swelling Along The Outside Of Mouth?

My lips burn and are swollen along the outside of my mouth. The skin around my lips is red like I missed with my lipstick. I look awful. My doctor has no idea what could be causing it. The only issue he said was I am low on B12 so I am receiving B12 shots once a week.
