What Causes Burning, Itching And Numbing Sensation Which Spread Through My Face?

A couple days ago I ate a spinach salad for lunch like I do everyday. about halfway through my meal I started to have a burning,itching,numbing sensation. it eventually made both my lips swell and the whole left side of my face numb for a couple of hours. Since Thursday I have had the same breakout everyday. today however my lips are more swollen then ever and there are little bumps on them inside and outside. the inside of my cheeks as well feel ulcerated. any ideas whats going on?
