What Causes Burning Like Spots Below Nails?

I have burning like spots of pink colour below nails on all the fingers.Dr, prescribed one alaspan tb. daily and a cream clonate for local application.I have taken this treatment of tablet for 14 days and used one 30gm.tube.It cured about 30%.Now the problem has become not the same but to some higer extent that creation of "Chale" and pain in fingers,kindly advice .
