What Causes Burning Pain Under Rib During Pregnancy?

Im 34 weeks pregnant, i have stabbing burning ball of pain under left rib. It is gradual for a couple hrs, then only hurts if i bend or push on area. Its always there if i lay dwn. Obgyn says its a normal pregnancy thing. I dnt think so this is 3rd child and nvr felt anything like this.
