What Causes Burning Sensation, Cramping And Stabbing Pain In Lower Back?

my daughter who has back problems on different occasions is now in her 4th week of healing. She received a shot to help with injury along with medicine to take for a week after. She is fairly good with making it thru the day but is in severe pain when trying to get up. Any thoughts on this. She has burning sensation, cramping and stabbing pain. Thank you
