What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination After Intercourse?

My question is this sometimes when my husband and I have sex usually around ovulation time my husband will say I can always tell when you are really acidic because after having sex it burns to urinate. Now would that be caused from being highly acidic? Could this effect fertility? I have not been able to get pregnant. Also what can I do if this is the cause anything naturally or medication?
