What Causes Burning Sensation In Penis While Having Sex?

I am married and my wife is expecting, she went to the hospital about a week ago because she was having some stomach cramps and they ran tests on her. We tried having sex and every time I insert my penis we both get a burning sensation only during insertion after that it is fine. Any clue on what it could be?
