What Causes Burning Sensation In Right Arm Radiating From Shoulder To Elbow?

My right arm is burning hot and red on just the outer side, from my shoulder down to just past my elbow. It does not hurt or itch. I had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago, but my shoulder has been painful at night when trying to sleep. The burning sensation just started today...thought it was related to stress here at work?
