What Causes Burning Sensation In The Right Side Of The Pelvic Area?

I am having burning in the lower pelvic area on the right side . I had a total hysterectomy 2 1/2 tears ago plus my appendicitis removed in 2010 after a bowel obstruction surgery. I had this same burning before the hysterectomy. What does this mean? I have nothing left in that area. Please help.
