What Causes Burning Sensation In Tricep?

i am a 36 year old female. the other day, i woke up in the middle of the night and propped myself up on my left elbow. i got a bad, almost burning sensation in my tricep. it went away after i moved and it didnt come back until this morning. it doesnt burn all the time and there is no rhyme or reason to it hurting.
