What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating And Pain Inside Vagina?

Hi, I am a female aged 44, for the last 24 hours I have had a slight burning sensation when I have a wee, along with an inner ache inside me. The ache reminds me of when I have a tampon that is dry inside me and the tugging feeling when I pull it out. Any ideas?
