What Causes Burning Tears?

My tears are buring my entire face and neck. I went to the Dermatologist & they prescribed Stearoid Pills & Steroid Foam. It went away. Several days later, it came back again. Another round of stearoid pills & Foam. Now, again it is back. Am I allergic to something. I ve used nothing new. I m wondering if it s in my diet?
