What Causes Buttock Itching Suddenly?

Hello. This is probibly strange but I really need help. So, yesterday I woke up to an extreamly uncomfortable itch in my butt. And it wasn't that bad, but later in the day it got worse. And now it's so bad that I cant sit still. I washed really good in the shower but it didn't do anything. I thought it was going to go away when I woke up this morning, but it's just worse. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with me or not. And honostly I will not go to a doctor because I'm so scared of them. Please help me.
