What Causes Chancres On Arms?

I have 2 random chancres on my arms. small, not painful, and have a little dot in the middle. they randomly appear and go away in 2-3 weeks and leave a small scar. can you tell me what a symptom this may be of? I recently got diagnosted with hsv 2. but other than that i have no idea what maybe causing it.
