I recently had cataract surgery, with the lens corrected for distance vision. I was told I wouldn t need glasses for distance vision. I had been farsighted before the surgery, requiring a +1.75 correction. After the surgery, I was nearsighted, requiring a -1.00 correction. What could have happened?
