What Causes Cheek Blemishes With Remnant Scabbing?

Hi, about 3 months ago two small red blemishes appeared on my cheek just below my eye and they didn't go away, now one of them has turned into a small round brown mark. It looks like a cross between a scab and a mole but I cannot feel it with my fingers. Should I get it checked do you think? Thank you. April
