What Causes Chest Pain And Elevated BP With History Of Arrhythmias And Bradycardia?

My cardiologist recently switched my meds. I'm currently taking cardizem 120 mg. The past three days I've had bad chest pain and my blood pressure would go from 111/58 to 140/95 within a few hours. Is this normal? I have been diagnosed with arrhythmias and bradycardia with hypertension and syncope.
