What Causes Chest Pain In Right Side,cough And Low Fever?

Hi Doctor Rynne, I caught croup from my grandson. Been coughing. Loosing voice, low fever. Tonight I just had a sudden severe pain in my right side of my chest that lasted about 4 minutes, then went away, and has come back twice. Is this a croup symptom, or something else? Was looking up phenmonia when your site came on line.
