What Causes Chest Tightness And Drop In BP Levels?

I am having chest tightness after being put on propranolol ER 80 mg - I ve been taking it for a week. My BP was 202/105 and now runs 170/88. My pulse dropped from 96-100 into the 70s. I am waiting for a referral to a cardiologist. I feel very tired and cry easily. Is this normal on this med?
