What Causes Choking Of Food Along With Trailing Of Voice?

what would be making my voice trail off to nothing and then I cant speak for a short period its like there isn't any vocal cord working then it comes back plus iv been chocking on smallest pces of food onec and a while no sore throat no cough not a thing
