What Causes Choking Sensation While Eating?

Hi, I have had an episode where I was eating and drinking and my throat closed up and I couldn't swallow or vomit and could not breath for what seemed like ages. I I felt like I was chocking to death. I could not breath in or out. I wet myself in the process of waiting to get my breath back. It has happened once before.
