What Causes Chronic Back Pain Despite Being Diagnosed With Scoliosis And Arthritis?

I live with chronic back pain. I have severe scoliosis and arthritis. My spin is at a 48 degree angle and I have a lot of nerve damage. What medication would be good for my symptom? I do not want to take a narcotic or something that will make me tired or depressed. Is there one you can recommend?
