What Causes Chronic Diarrhea After Having Gall Bladder Removed?

My friend had her gall bladder out a while ago and is much better as far as the pain has gone but she has constant diahrea and her life is ruled by it, if she has visitors she can t eat before they come because is always dashing to the toilet, surely this cannot be right
