What Causes Chronic Pain Under The Ribs Along With Gurgling Sound?

I have a chronic pain in my right side, under my ribs that doesn t go away. It s painful to touch and I believe it extends to my back. I say I believe because I have injured that area of my back and ribs a few years ago and am unsure if that is a separate pain. The area noticeable gurgles and growls after drinking or eating. I have consumed alcohol in the past and still do. Any ideas? Oh, I just had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and both were fine.
