What Causes Chronic Upper Respiratory Tract Infection?

My daughter is five she had a injury to her nose at the bringing of school the dr thought she might have broken her nose but it was just really burned. About after she started to get upper respiratory problems and developed a cough. At first she was given augmentin and cough syrup for her congestions. We gave her the antibiotic for the 10 days that was required. About two weeks after that she had the same symptoms accured again but she as develop a ear infection on the left side. I was given the same antibiotic and temaflu bc she had the flu symptoms. Gave her all the medication but it s been two in half weeks after finishing the medicine and now she has all the symptoms again but the cough is more wet and she having difficulty breathing through her nose and her back and body is starting to hurt more then last time. Could she have developed bronchitis or penumona?
