What Causes Chronic Vomiting?

My son has been vomiting for the past 4 yr and his only five Any time and after he eats...upper test was normal...we have been through test with no result on the cause he has to go through the lower part of the test. But very afraid of the dr putting him to sleep want to do every check that I know that is out there before they do this. Help we can t stop crying
