What Causes Circular Red Sore And Smegma From Penis?

Hi, I am 50. on the left side of my penis the foreskin has severely attached itself to the helmet. Just above where there is the join, the hemet has a tiny circular sore that is can become red. It has all become very painful. And when I say all, I mean mentally too. I am also experiencing loads of smegma daily, as much as when I was 16. I am also embarrassed about going to my doctor. Joe
