What Causes Clear Fluid Discharge With Pungent Smell?

This morning there was a watery type substance dripping down my legs after I peed this morning. It has a slight fishy stench. I thought I might have BV so i inserted a tampon dipped in peroxide in my vagina for 2hrs. So I really don't know what is happening.
