What Causes Clear Liquid Discharge From An Ear?

i had an ear infection about a month ago. the doctor gave me numbing drops to use for the severe pain i was having. i put it in my ear for two days and stopped when pain stopped. now for the last three weeks clear liquid has been coming out of my ear. and chucks that look tissue like comes out. and i have used peroixde in my ear at times and it all smells like bad peroixde. so can you tell me what might be wrong'
