What Causes Clear Vaginal Discharge With Bad Odour?

Im a 54 yr old female with irregular periods about every 3 to 4 mths. last month had yearly pap exam results were negative & negative for HPV, also had colonoscopy finding early stage 1 rectal cancer. Started to spot yesterday & today, actually just watery but smells like death. Could something else be going on?
