What Causes Clear Watery Liquid Dripping From Nostril?

My right nostril is always dripping a clear watery liquid. Sometimes it even drips if I don't catch it in time. Very embarrassing. Also, when I kiss my boyfriend my nose is always wet. It's been happening for years now, winter, spring, summer, and fall. No allergies that I know of. A month ago I had a nasapalatine duct cyst removed. I thought for sure that was the cause. Still have the problem post surgery. My Dr. wants me sample nasal sprays.... I read online that doesn't work and can make it worse. Please educate me on what this is/cause and if the nasal sprays will work/good idea???
