What Causes Cloudy Urine?

I have cloudy urine it appears to have a lot of salt or starching it and when left for a couple of hours when placed into a large glass the starch or salt drops to the bottom of the glass and the remainder becomes clearer where at first it s fukly cloudy and not transparant.
