What Causes Congestion In Chest Along With Swollen Tonsillitis?

I think I have tonsillitis as my throat is very sore and I can't swallow properly and when looking at my tonsils they seem inflames, swollen and blistered. However I also have a tight chest and chesty cough and have been coughing up light green mucus, is it possible I have tonsillitis as well as a chest infection? If so should I be worried?
