What Causes Congestion In Chest Of An Infant?

yes I have an 8 month old granddaughter that last weekend stopped breathing in her sleep we got her breathing took her to the hospital they then just kept her over night to monitor her then sent her home she has been sick for a good while and no one will do anything she is so congested cant sleep or drink her bottle cant breath what should we do
