What Causes Consistent Headaches After Being Diagnosed With Pericarditis?

I have been experiencing daily headaches over the last four and a half months. They began around the same time that I was diagnosed with pericarditis. The cause of the pericarditis is believed to have been viral but I have since had it again, (twice in six months) each time after a sinus/respiratory infection. I am wondering if the headaches and pericarditis are just symptoms of something else...possibly and autoimmune disease of some sort??..
