What Causes Constant Anxiety Along With Phobia For Different Diseases?

I have constant anxiety and fear of catching a disease from a needle (I work at a detox site), and I'm scared of catching something from being in public - germs from a door handle and getting sick (I wear gloves when I'm out, and won't go out to eat)
