What Causes Constant Burning In Chest/esophagus After A Laproscopy?

hi, i had an operation bout 10 weeks ago (laparoscip funduplication) i had very bad acid and also regurjitating my food....I have found that after about 7 weeks that i have constant burning in my chest/esophagus..is this normal and can i stop it.....help i have had this for over 1 year and i feel that operation was waste of time
