What Causes Constant Clearing Of Throat Along With Shortness Of Breath?

I don t feel great. I m getting over a cold and I m have discomfort in my upper chest and keep trying to clear my throat. I cough hard but only a little flem comes up so I keep trying. I feel a little short of breath but I don t know if it s anxiety or a real problem I live alone.
