What Causes Constant Cold Knees And Legs?

I have icy cold knees and legs all the time. Before it use to be spasmodic ie. when the weather was warmer my legs felt better but now not even the hot weather, hot water bottles or extra clothes seems to help. Do you think it is rheumatoid arthritis or could it be something else? I have an appointment with the Rheumatologist on 1 April. Thanks.
