What Causes Constant Pain Below Ribs, Back Along With Stomach Pain?

My wife is having a bad taste/smell when she breathes.. she said it was bad breathe and made me smell it I couldn't smell anything though. She has been experiencing bad nausa for the last few days and a consistent pain just below her rt ribs and back along with stomach pains.. any idea?
