What Causes Constant Pain In Upper Abdomen?

I am experiencing pain in my upper abdomen, feels like hunger pains and sometimes wakes me up through the night, it s not constant pain, and also comes and goes throughout the day. Not sure if it s integestion as It often causes me to bel have. Only experienced this since Monday night and I m going to try Gaviscon.
